Landscapes

In October 2009 I was fortunate to visit Linville, N.C., courtesy of my wife Ann's parents, Dottie and Wayne Kispert, to whom this series of small watercolors are dedicated.  It is a very beautiful place.

This Country Life

Since 2001 I have lived in a rural setting, specifically South Lake County in Florida.  Often I find the landscape reminiscent of my childhood, a significant part of which was spent in rural Florida, away from the crowds of the attractions.

The series below was painted (and printed) during the very difficult year 2007, from a personal standpoint.  I dedicate it to my parents, Josephine and Ronald P. Colvin, my wife Ann, and our blessed Wolf.
